For the opening of its very first flagship store in Tokyo, SEGA has teamed up with Timberland to unveil a unique collaboration: a pair of premium boots featuring the image of the most famous blue hedgehog in video games. A meeting of fashion and gaming that pays homage to both nostalgia and urban culture.
A pair of Timberland boots in Sonic's colors
The centerpiece of this collection is, unsurprisingly, a pair of Timberland Premium Wheat boots, reimagined with subtle details inspired by the world of Sonic. An engraving of the character on the heel, a reminder of the license on the tongue, electric blue laces… each element reinforces this nod to SEGA's legendary mascot.
More than just a pair of shoes, this is a true limited collector's item that blends Japanese pop culture and streetwear heritage .
Collector's t-shirts for SEGA fans
The collaboration isn't limited to boots. Timberland and SEGA are also offering two exclusive t-shirt designs, long-sleeved or short-sleeved, each limited to just 50 pieces. The designs feature Sonic in a full Timberland look, available in black or white, with prices ranging from €64 to €83.
Each purchase will come with a collector's set including a postcard and a Sonic sticker. Something to appeal to both fashion fans and retro gaming enthusiasts.
A world exclusive reserved for Tokyo
Only 30 pairs of Sonic x Timberland boots will be available at the Timberland store in Shibuya PARCO, Tokyo , starting August 9, 2025. The price is approximately €224. Pre-orders are not possible, and only one pair per customer is allowed. In other words, the hunt will be as fast as a Sonic race!
